The search for a missing North Canterbury woman is being scaled down.

Emma Beattie, 20, was last seen at her home in Fernside, Waimakariri, nine days ago.
An intensive search of the Ashley River area has failed to find any trace of her.
Police said they would continue to make enquiries.
"Sadly we have now reached the point where all possible search options have been exhausted, and as such, our efforts will now be scaled back," senior sergeant Paul Reeves said.
He said any new leads or information would be assessed by the search teams.
