A child is one of two people injured in a jet boat accident in North Canterbury.
The accident happened this morning on the Hurunui River.
A rescue coordination centre spokesman said they were alerted after a personal locator beacon was set off just before midday.
Both the accident victims suffered minor injuries and were airlifted to Christchurch Hospital.
