Search and rescue personnel have found a body while searching farmland in Waihi this morning.
It's believed to be that of missing Waihi man Grant Ridley, but formal identification has yet to take place.
The 46-year-old had not been seen for a fortnight.
Police said the matter was being referred to the Coroner.
