A man has died after being trapped in a workplace accident in South Auckland.
Emergency services were called at about 7.30am to a site on Aintree Avenue in Māngere.
Fire and Emergency Services shift manager Paul Radden said three trucks and a specialist rescue team were called to pull out the trapped man.
Police said he later died at the scene.
Worksafe NZ has been notified.
