Victorious Black Ferns arrive home

The victorious Black Ferns have landed back in Auckland, after reclaiming the Rugby World Cup.

In a thrilling final in Belfast last Saturday, the women in black defeated the defending English side 41-32.

The five-time world champions touched down about 10.30am today, carrying their trophy into Auckland Airport.

The players said they were happy to be home.

Proud family members and friends gathered around the arrivals hall, excited to see their loved ones.

Most of the players returned today, but some of the team are still overseas on holiday.
