The death of a 45-year-old man in Fairlie last week was not suspicious, police in South Canterbury say.
The body of the local man, Michael Andrew Phillips, was discovered near the Opihi Riverbed, with his car nearby.
Police said after extensive enquiries, they'll be referring the death to the coroner.
