Airlines say services to Vanuatu are not likely to be disrupted by a volcanic ash cloud from Mount Yasur on Tanna Island.
Scientists have warned that the cloud, which is up to 1.8km high and covers 340 square km, has the potential to stop flights from being able to land there.
Air Vanuatu which operates both domestic and international flights, says it has been closely monitoring the situation. However, no flights are canceled so far.
Air New Zealand says none of its services to Vanuatu are expected to be affected by the ash.
