Police have confirmed a body has been found in a ute removed from Lake Arapuni as part of the search for missing Waikato woman Kim Richmond.

Ms Richmond, 42, was last seen driving south from her Arohena home on 31 July 2016.
Police divers found the silver 2014 Ford Ranger ute in the lake yesterday.
The vehicle was pulled from the lake today. Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson said the body had not yet been formally identified.
A post mortem would happen tomorrow and the coroner had been advised, Mr Patterson said.
The police investigation was ongoing, he said.
