The Southern Steel netball team says six players involved in a crash today are in a stable condition.
A van they were in was struck by another vehicle in Christchurch and wound up on its side.
The crash happened at the intersection of Memorial Ave and Clyde Road in Fendalton just after 1pm today.
The team's lead physiotherapist, Corina Ngatuere, said four players were taken to accident and emergency at Christchurch Hospital as a precautionary measure.
She said two had been given the all-clear and two were waiting to be assessed.
