Six fire crews extinguished a fire at a block of flats in South Auckland overnight.

The fire was at a property with six flats joined together on Victoria Street in Pukekohe.
A Fire Service spokesperson said crews responded at 10.20pm last night and two more were sent later.
They said no one was in the unit where the fire began.
