Police have apprehended two boys, aged 10 and 13, over a suspicious fire at a computer business in Richmond.
Six fire crews were called to the McGlashen Avenue building just after 11pm, and extinguished the blaze after an hour and a half.
Police and fire investigators were at the scene this morning.
Richmond chief fire officer Craig Piner said the building was still standing but the heat, smoke and water damage is significant.
"Someone's lit a fire, we believe, in a cardboard-recycling skip.
"Unfortunately the skip's up against the building and the fire's got into the wall of the building and spread throughout the roof.
"The main damage is to the PC company's part of the building, so there's a significant loss of some of their products."
Mr Piner said the fire was a good reminder for business owners not to put skips up against their building.
Police said this afternoon they had taken in two boys, aged 10 and 13, in connection with the fire and referred them to Youth Aid.
