Firefighters rescue person trapped in toilet for 4 hours

Firefighters have had to break into a public toilet in Auckland where a person had been trapped for four hours.

They were called to Glenmall Place in the suburb of Glen Eden shortly after 11pm.

A spokesman said the trapped person called the fire service after failing to get a response from the council.
