A man has undergone emergency surgery in Auckland Hospital after being stabbed in his home in the North Shore suburb of Northcote.
Police say a 40-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with assault. She will appear in the North Shore District Court on Tuesday.
The stabbing happened at about 6.30pm on Monday at a house in Kaka Street. The man is aged 47.
