A body found at Sandfly Bay in Dunedin is likely to be that of a diver who went missing yesterday, police say.
Police said the diver had been with a group diving early yesterday evening but failed to resurface at about 7pm.
In a separate case, the body of a 65-year-old man who went missing during a day-long tramp on the West Coast has been found.
His body was located near a bluff in a coastal area between Smoothwater Bay and Stafford Bay, and his death was not considered suspicious, police said.
