A Qantas flight bound for Melbourne had to return to Auckland yesterday after a man died on board.
The airline said the flight left Auckland about 6am yesterday, but turned back after half an hour after a man had a heart attack.
A spokesman said cabin crew attempted to resuscitate the man but he was declared dead by paramedics that met the plane on arrival back in Auckland.
