A man will appear in court today after a shooting at a Christchurch house.
Police arrested and charged a 33-year-old with aggravated robbery causing grievous bodily harm.
They believe the shooting, in Morley Street, Bryndwr in the early hours of Thursday, was a targeted attack.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, was still in hospital, but was expected to make a full recovery after surgery.
The police were looking for a car - a 1998 purple Honda Accord, registration CX4771 - in relation to the incident.
