A woman is in a critical condition after falling from the seventh floor of an Auckland apartment building.
The Fire Service was called to the Focus on Anzac building on Anzac Avenue in central Auckland at 7.45pm.
Fire Service spokeswoman Dallas Ramsay said the woman fell from a seventh-floor balcony and landed on a balcony below.
Ms Ramsay said it was unclear why she fell or if anyone else was involved.
The woman was taken to hospital.
