One person has died following a crash between a truck and a car on State Highway 1 in North Canterbury today.
A police spokesperson said the crash happened shortly after 11am at Amberley.
SH1 remains closed with diversions in place at Leithfield and Grays Roads.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
