Police have pulled a man's body from the Waikato River after he disappeared earlier today.

The 32-year-old was in the water, near the Huka Falls, before onlookers lost sight of him.
Taupo police were called shortly after 5pm. Coastguard helped police search for the man.
His body was discovered down river from where he was last seen, police said.
The Police Dive Squad was at the scene about 11pm to recover the man's body.
