Inquiries set after deadly week of crashes

It has been a disastrous week on the roads, with 15 deaths in seven days, police say.

All the crashes will be the subject of coronial inquiries.

Assistant police commissioner Dave Cliff said every death on the roads was a tragedy for the affected families.

He called on drivers to be more mindful of others, watch their speed, and make sure everyone in a car wore a seatbelt or other restraint.
