A teenager charged with the murder of a man at a party in Taumarunui a week ago has appeared can now be named.
John-Humphrey Evans-Whatarangi, 18, appeared again in court on Monday, charged with murdering Simon Conrad.
Mr Conrad, 56, was found dead in a flat in Para Street after what police say was a minor altercation at a party at the flat the night before.
The accused appeared in the Hamilton District Court on Monday and has been further remanded in custody for a pre-depositions hearing in February.
