The South Island's richest tribe has reported a record annual operating result.
Ngai Tahu's commercial arm, Ngai Tahu Group Holdings, has announced a net surplus of $58.2 million.
There's been an increase of more than $10 million over last year's result.
The Group says a stand-out performer has been Ngai Tahu Seafood.
The subsidiary contributed $12.6 to the operating surplus - the best ever performance.
