Police have named the man they are looking for in relation to a bank robbery that followed a bomb hoax at a Whangarei school.
They have a warrant to arrest Anthony Hone Mangu, 26, who lives in the suburb of Raumanga.
Police say a man went into the ANZ bank in Rathbone Street on Tuesday, handed the teller a note saying he did not want to hurt anyone and to hand over cash.
He was given money and left the scene in a taxi.
The robbery happened shortly after a bomb threat at Tikipunga High School drew most police patrols out of the city centre and police suspect the two incidents are linked.
