Police are seeking witnesses to an assault after a man was found with serious head injuries in Lower Hutt, near Wellington.
A 21-year-old man was discovered on Seddon Street, Naenae, early on the morning on Sunday 3 July.
Police said he was still in intensive care with life-threatening injuries.
They believed the man was chased from a party in Cleland Crescent, and wanted to speak to any witnesses of the attack or anyone who attended the party, they said.
