A man has been charged following the deaths of two people in a road crash north of Waiouru on Easter Sunday.
They were front seat passengers in two vehicles which collided on the Desert Road earlier in April. Both drivers were seriously injured.
The driver of one of the cars faces two charges of dangerous driving causing death and four charges of dangerous driving causing injury.
He will appear in the Hamilton District Court on 12 May.
