The agency in charge of driving development in parts of Christchurch has appointed a chief executive.
Ivan Lafeta has joined Regenerate Christchurch after working as a senior advisor at the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.
The minister supporting Greater Christchurch Regeneration, Gerry Brownlee, said Mr Lafeta had a range of leadership skills and experience that would complement the board.
Mr Lafeta joins Andre Lovatt, who is the chair of Regenerate Christchurch.
