A Destiny Church pastor in Taranaki has quit her job with a foster home organisation as her son faces a sex assault charge against a foster child.
Robyn Edmonds and her husband Lee have also stood down as Destiny pastors after new sexual misconduct allegations about their daughter.
Until now, Ms Edmonds managed the Taranaki branch of the Open Home Foundation, a Christian fostering organisation.
The couple's son, Joshua Edmonds, 29, is charged with indecently assaulting a 13-year-old girl whom the foundation had placed in a Destiny Church foster family.
Their adult daughter, Rebekah Noble, is alleged to have had a relationship with a boy the foundation says is 16.
Open Home Foundation chief executive Russell Martin says Robyn Edmonds was asked to resign as there would be a loss of confidence in its service if she continued her role.
The Edmonds have also stood down as Destiny pastors because of the allegations.
