A Hamilton man has been arrested after a gun was held to the head of a woman.
Police say they received reports of a woman being chased along a street in the suburb of Enderley just before 11pm on Tuesday before a hand gun was held to her head.
Armed police cordoned off the area and a man eventually gave himself up. No firearm was found.
A man will appear in the Hamilton District Court on Wednesday on domestic violence charges.
