A person was taken to Wellington Hospital after a fire at a central city apartment block.
The Fire Service says it was called at about 11am on Tuesday to a building on Ghuznee Street.
The building houses a shop, offices and apartments.
Water blasting on the outside of the building is believed to have triggered an electrical fault, starting the fire.
Four people were evacuated from the building and one was taken to hospital.
