Exact dates for each location are yet to be confirmed, but the couple will arrive in Wellington on 4 November.

They will lay a wreath at the new Pukeahu National War Memorial, commemorating 100 years since Gallipoli.

Camilla will attend a literary reception at Otago University, and join her husband in a visit to the Orokonui Eco-Sanctuary north of Dunedin.

In Auckland, Prince Charles will visit Nga Rangatahi Toa, an organisation which works to get young people into jobs.

In Waikato the royal couple will be welcomed at Turangawaewae Marae, the home of Maori King - with a waka armada on the Waikato River.

The Maori King's office said the visit was a significant milestone in the relationship between Maori and the royal family.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will receive a powhiri on the marae on Sunday, 8 November. It will be the Prince's second visit to Turangawaewae.

The couple will also visit Nelson to see the Cawthron Institute and the Nelson weekend market and to go on a wine tour.

Prince Charles will travel to Westport to look in on the Defence Force's Exercise Southern Katipo.
