Manukau City Council is keeping an eye on a large slip that is threatening to cut the main road into Kawakawa Bay.
A slip earlier this month is still partially blocking the road and the council says there is potential for more of the hillside to come down.
The council says the area is being monitored and advice is being obtained from engineers about how the slip should be treated.
