Tenants of council flats in Wellington claim they're being left in the dark over a planned upgrade project.
A $220 million Government package was announced in February last year, under which more than 2000 council units upgraded over the next 20 years.
The tenants say word on the logistics of the upgrades was expected in July - but they're still waiting.
Wellington City Council says there is much to consider, including where to house people during the upgrading work.
It expects to reach a formal agreement on the plan with the Government within three weeks and hopes to start the work next year.
