A man has been arrested after four hours of negotiations involving members of the Armed Offenders Squad.
Police say the man had been arrested in Thames at 1am on Tuesday for a breach of bail, but he escaped from custody.
Police claim he later threatened officers, so the Armed Offenders Squad was brought in to deal with the situation.
