A prominent New Zealander accused of sex offences will not stand trial until next year.

The man who cannot be named, by order of the High Court, has denied twelve charges of indecent assault against two people whose names and ages are also suppressed.

Some charges were representative and included allegations that he touched the two complainants on the breast, buttocks, thigh and groin over a period of time.

The man elected a jury trial which was been set down for April 2016.
