A teenager accused of running down and killing a pedestrian appeared in Christchurch District Court on Monday.
Michael James Bensley, 18, is charged with driving at a dangerous speed, causing the death of Elizabeth Hart, 20, on 21 June.
He was remanded on bail to appear again on 28 July.
Ms Hart had been at a 21st party and was crossing Fendalton Road when she was hit by a car.
