Police are talking to a man in relation to a bomb threat which was made on a plane between Christchurch and Auckland.
It happened on a JetStar plane this morning.
Police said they had to search the plane when it landed at Auckland Airport after a passenger made what they describe as inappropriate comments.
The flight crew was made aware of the comments and arranged for officers to meet the passenger when the plane landed.
A police spokesperson said while there was no threat to the public, all comments regarding the security of aircraft are taken seriously.
