Police said the brawl happened about 11pm on Saturday, and the station was closed down.
They said it was largely young people involved, and while there were claims gangs were involved, no patched members were seen.
The brawl followed the city's Christmas in the Park event, along with the Raga-muffin music festival.
Police said some of those involved in the pushing, punching, and kicking came from the concerts.
They said they managed to bring the situation under control relatively quickly and the crowd dispersed.
