An 18-month-old girl has spent the night in Starship Hospital in a critical condition, after being run over in a South Auckland driveway.
Two ambulances and a rapid-response unit attended the accident at a property in Massey Road, Mangere, at 4.30pm yesterday afternoon.
The ambulance service said the child was in a critical condition when paramedics arrived.
She was first taken to Middlemore Hospital before being transferred to Starship.
The NZ Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating the accident.
