Two people have been killed in accidents on North Island roads on Saturday, both in crashes involving a car and a motorcycle.
A 38-year-old man died when his motorycle collided with a car on Kopaki Road in Waitomo just after 4pm.
His wife, who was riding pillion, was taken to hospital.
In Coromandel, a 30-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a car on Main Road, Tairua, at 11.30am.
