Murder teen's mother faces deportation

1:40 pm on 1 December 2014

The mother of the killer of New Zealand teen Emily Longley could be deported from Britain, British media are reporting.

Miss Longley was a student and aspiring model from New Zealand who was murdered in Britain in 2011 by Elliott Turner, now serving a life sentence for the attack.

Turner's parents were in turn jailed after being found guilty of trying to cover up their son's crime.

The Daily Mail and the Bournemouth Echo have reported Turner's Indonesian born mother, Anita, faces a deportation hearing later this month.
