Police in the Nelson area are searching for a missing Motueka man.

Colin Smith, 66, went missing from the Jack Inglis Hospital in Motueka about 5.30pm today.
Police say he has Down syndrome and suffers from dementia.
They would like to hear from anyone who has seen Mr Smith, or has information about where he may be.
