Police are seeking a driver involved in a hit and run in Christchurch this morning, which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The collision occurred on Selwyn Road just before 7am. Police say a dark grey, four-door Subaru Legacy appears to have turned in front of the motorbike onto Robinsons Road.
Witnesses told police the bike collided with the passenger side of the car, which did not stop.
Police believe the car may have been heading towards the Rolleston area.
The motorcyclist was taken to Christchurch Hospital with suspected arm, leg and stomach injuries.
