New Zealand director Sir Peter Jackson will join some of the entertainment industry's biggest stars on the celebrated Hollywood walk of fame in the United States.

The award-winning director of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit series of films is one of 30 people to be included in the honourees for 2015.
The chair of the Walk of Fame selection committee, Maureen Schultz, said this year's crop represent the best in the business.
Others to be honoured include actors Daniel Radcliffe, Will Ferrell and Jennifer Garner, the musician Pharrell Williams and the Snoopy cartoon character.
