Police are looking for a prisoner who has escaped from the Otago Corrections Facility.
Stephen Uriah Maddren was reported missing about 4.15pm on Tuesday.
The man is described as Caucasian, 171 centimetres tall, with a mullet of brown or black shoulder-length hair, and has no teeth.
Maddren was last seen wearing green track pants and a green top. Police said he should not be approached.
