A man is in Dunedin Hospital after fleeing police who attempted to stop him from speeding.
Police said the man was driving at 122km/h near Middlemarch when they tried to get him to pull over, just before 11am on Monday. His vehicle crashed several minutes later.
Police said his injuries are not life-threatening and are trying to confirm his identity.
