The Wellington Phoenix soccer club will host English Premier League football clubs West Ham and Newcastle United as part of a four-team tournament in New Zealand in July.
The two Premier League teams will play against the Phoenix and fellow A-League club Sydney FC, with matches to be played in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin.
It will also involve a double-header at Westpac Stadium with all four teams set to play.
It will be the first time in the Southern Hemisphere that two English Premier League clubs have played on the same ground on the same day.
Phoenix general manager David Dome says the Premier League clubs have promised to bring their strongest squads, including West Ham and All Whites captain Winston Reid.
It's taken more than a year to organise and will cost more than $2 million dollars for the Phoenix to bring the two sides to New Zealand.
