Human bones found in a park in Auckland recently have been confirmed as the remains of missing Chinese woman Cissy Chen.
The remains were found in a drain at Totaravale Reserve on the North Shore on 24 March and police have since found other parts of her skeleton in the area.
Ms Chen, who was 44, vanished from her house in the suburb of Torbay on 12 November 2012.
Detective Inspector Bruce Scott says Ms Chen lived near the park where her remains have been found and regularly walked there and there are a number of people police are wanting to speak to.
Mr Scott says while Ms Chen's family are upset, they are pleased that her body has been found.
