Traffic is backed-up after a second accident on the main highway into Wellington from the Hutt Valley.
Earlier on Monday, a southbound lane of State Highway Two near Horokiwi was blocked by a car which caught fire.
Now a multi-car nose to tail has blocked the road in the same spot. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays.
