About 34,000 people have taken part in Auckland's annual Round the Bays run.
Runners donned costumes and matching shirts for the fun run from central Auckland around the waterfront to St Heliers Bay.
It is one of the world's largest fun runs at just over 8 kms long.
Simon Tong, managing director of Fairfax which co owns Round the Bays, says the event remains very popular because people are able to raise money for charities.
Mr Tong says the event this year has raised $150,000 which was donated to to seven charities.
