A three-month-old baby is in a critical condition in Auckland's Starship hospital after being flown from Southland with serious injuries following a fall.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Bowman said emergency services were called to a house in Riverton in Southland at 7.25pm on Monday after reports that the boy had serious injuries and was unresponsive.
The baby was initially taken to Southland Hospital before being flown to Auckland.
